By accessing and using Setld ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Description of Service
Setld provides an online platform where users can list and discover accommodation opportunities, including hostels, bedspaces, and related offerings.
Setld only facilitates connections between users.
Setld does not act as an agent, broker, middleman, or property manager, and does not own, inspect, control, or guarantee any listed accommodation.
All arrangements, payments, agreements, and interactions occur strictly between users.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. User Conduct
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Service:
- In any way that violates applicable laws or University regulations
- Post misleading, false, fraudulent, or harmful information
- Engage in activities that interfere with others' use of the platform
- Impersonate any individual or entity
- To transmit or procure the sending of any advertising or promotional material
- To engage in any other conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use of the Service
Setld reserves the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.
5. Listings and Content
Users are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of their listings and content. Setld reserves the right to remove any content that violates these terms or is deemed inappropriate.
Setld does not verify ownership or legitimacy of listings beyond intense basic checks and does not guarantee the authenticity of any listing.
Setld may remove content that is fraudulent, inappropriate, or violates these Terms
6. Payments and Fees
Setld charges a non-refundable service fee for accessing verified contact details of accommodation providers.
This fee covers access to connection details only, not the success or outcome of any transaction.
Setld is not responsible for failed deals, changes in availability, disagreements between users, or financial losses arising from user-to-user interactions.
7.Transactions Between Users
All negotiations, payments, agreements, and visits are entirely between the buyer and the accommodation provider.
- Guarantee the condition or availability of any accommodation
- Mediate disputes or enforce agreements
- Handle or protect payments
- Take responsibility for fraud, misrepresentation, or damages caused by users
Users are encouraged to exercise caution and due diligence.
8. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Service, to understand our practices.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Setld is not liable for:
- Losses arising from user interactions or transactions
- Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
- Handle or protect payments
- Loss of data, money, property, goodwill, opportunities, or availability
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Setld harmless from any claims, damages, disputes, or liabilities arising from your use of the platform, your listings, your interactions, or your violation of these Terms.
11. No Agency Relationship
Nothing on Setld creates a partnership, agent-principal relationship, or employment relationship between Setld and any user. Users act solely on their own behalf.
12. Changes to Terms
Setld may update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
